My Story

Growing up, I had a background in both swimming and weightlifting. It was during this time that I first felt the desire to combine my love for fitness with my eagerness to help others reach their goals. This naturally set me on the path to becoming a physical therapist.

I began my journey as an exercise technician at various orthopedic physical therapy clinics over a decade ago. I went on to graduated from Northeastern University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019, and moved across the country to the beautiful Bay Area California. I’ve since had the privilege of treating a variety of athletes ranging from runners, weightlifters, mountain bikers, and surfers.

I quickly noticed something that didn't sit quite right. It seemed like the whole system was designed to cater to insurance companies rather than putting patient care front and center. And it wasn't just physical therapy; this issue extended to chiropractors, massage therapists, and other rehabilitation experts.

Sometimes, I felt like clinicians were encouraged to keep you around. As a physical therapist, I wanted to foster independence in my patients, not dependence.

Simply put, clinicians are incentivized sell more sessions.

But more doesn’t necessarily mean better.

Not Limited by sessions.

That's when the idea struck me. I wanted to create a different kind of physical therapy, one that cares about your actual long term outcomes, rather than short term relief.

I offer a unique coaching service that is different from the traditional physical therapy sessions. This approach allows for more frequent communication between sessions, eliminating the need for patients to make the cumbersome trip to a clinic twice a week. We can provide personalized guidance and support that extends beyond the confines of a typical therapy appointment.

This coaching model empowers patients to take an active role in their recovery, ultimately leading to more effective outcomes.

I believe in maintaining a holistic and well-rounded approach to fitness - I'm a recreational runner and weight lifter. I enjoy CrossFit, powerlifting, trail running, snowboarding, surfing, backpacking and my new found sport of pickleball!

I’ve had my fair share of injuries over the years. I know what it’s like to feel frustrated that your injury may not be progressing. Let me help you get back to doing the things that you love!
